Ciel Ortiz

Ciel Ortiz is a Paralegal at JLG Lawyers and has been working in employment law for 4 years. Ciel’s passion for helping our clients is contagious! They work every day to push our client’s cases forward by conducting client interviews, fact gathering, and providing drafting and litigation support to our attorneys. They began their legal career assisting applicants in immigration matters, and has since been working in plaintiff’s employment matters. They graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.

Ciel has an eclectic variety of interests, including reading literature, listening to world music, cooking, playing board games with friends, and visiting museums and botanical gardens. They have also volunteered at a paralegal association in Los Angeles and helped organize events for aspiring and seasoned paralegals across Los Angeles County.
