She handles many aspects of case management, including assigning customized case teams, assessing and addressing client’s individual needs and goals, and ensuring that all JLG’s pre-litigation cases are being processed with urgency and care.
Kristina was born in the Philippines. With her parents and 2 siblings, she moved to Dublin, Ireland and migrated to the United States in 2005. As a first generation immigrant, she relied heavily on her familial support and cultural roots to help navigate her through her academic endeavors. Ms. Fernandez was consecutively on the Dean’s List during her undergraduate years, and eventually graduated Magna Cum Laude at University of California, Riverside.
She further developed her passion for law when she attended law school for 1 year, participating in Moot Court competitions and earning a Witkins Award in Legal Writing & Research. Since her hiatus from law school, Ms. Fernandez has dedicated her time and passion helping employees with their workplace disputes. Her goal is to finish her studies and one day become an attorney.
Prior to joining JLG Lawyers in 2019, Kristina volunteered with the United Nations, working directly with SEEDS Theater Group as an online correspondent for the “Women Not Witches” Campaign. Through her volunteer work with non-profit organizations, she advocated for feminism, comparative policy, global arts and community outreach. In her spare time, she helps rescue and foster animals. Kristina enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
