Latrice Burks-Palmerio

Associate Attorney

Overview

Latrice is an Associate Attorney at JLG Lawyers with a robust background in pre-litigation and litigation. Previously, she worked at an AM 100 law firm focusing on business litigation. She currently represents employees in cases of wrongful termination, discrimination, workplace harassment, and retaliation. She has prevailed in employment matters against various Fortune 500 companies. Several of Latrice’s clients are women of color who experience workplace discrimination. Latrice is a champion for equality of all types.  

 

Latrice earned her J.D. from University of Southern California (USC) Gould School of Law. While in law school, Latrice externed for the Honorable André Birotte Jr. (U.S. District Court Judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California). She also served as the Founding Member of the Womxn of Color Collective (WOCC).1 After law school, Latrice clerked for the Honorable Alvin W. Thompson (United States District Judge for the District of Connecticut).

 

Latrice grew up in Shaker Heights, a renowned suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.  Now, she lives in Los Angeles with her husband and children.
