Parker Swanson is a Litigation Secretary at JLG Lawyers. Parker helps maintain our firm’s databases and ensures that all filings are compliant with local, state, and federal rules to ensure efficient and diligent management of our client’s important legal matters. Parker also is the assistant to Senior Managing Attorneys Sean Shahabi and Barbara DuVan-Clarke. Prior to pursuing a legal career, Parker worked in Public Safety managing lifeguards and teaching CPR & First Aid courses.
Parker attended California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo with a major in American Politics and minors in Global Politics, Law & Society, and Psychology. At Cal Poly, Parker volunteered as an Orientation Leader, Campus Ambassador, and represented the College of Liberal Arts on the Associated Students Incorporated Board of Directors. He also competed at the collegiate level as a member of Cal Poly’s Speech & Debate Team, Model United Nations team, and Mock Trial team.
Parker is ecstatic to be taking on meaningful work helping those who have been treated unfairly, and brings enthusiasm, positivity, and a great sense of humor to everything he does in life. He is extremely passionate about music – outside of work you will probably catch him dancing and singing his heart out at a concert, or performing himself as a drummer, saxophonist, and DJ. Parker also enjoys surfing, watching sports, and experiencing all that life has to offer with those who mean the most to him!
