Alexandra Tieu is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of JLG Lawyers where she shapes the firm’s vision and leads the business growth strategy. Under her leadership, JLG has been recognized as one of the most innovative law firms in California. While most competitive law firms convert around 1% of their online leads, JLG has achieved a consistent conversion rate of over 13%. The firm has achieved thousands of settlements and helped numerous clients defend their rights at the workplace. Thanks to her tech expertise, JLG is one of the few law firms that utilizes multi-channel marketing, cross-platform tracking and an array of advanced tools to monitor and improve marketing performance and conversion rates, while continuously delivering high client satisfaction rates. JLG’s motto, since the very beginning, has always been “We care”.

She is a constant entrepreneur and has led many successful companies in technology, lead generation and real estate. Currently she’s the managing partner for Twenty Five Ventures, a venture capital fund selecting and managing investments in real estate, property, and financial technology and advisor to several tech companies in the real estate and legal fields.

As the former COO of Propy, a global real estate transaction platform, her team used blockchain and smart contract technology enabling brokers, escrow, title, consumers and agents to take part in a singular digital experience that makes property transactions faster, smarter, and more secure. The company raised over 15 million in an ICO and is known to be the first company to record property transfer using blockchain during her tenure.

Alex’s experience is extensive. In her role as Head Broker at Movoto. She was an integral part of the leadership team, Alex supported Movoto’s growth in becoming the second largest online real estate brokerage in the US, attracting over 350,000 visitors daily on the website and generating 2 leads per minute. She led the company to a successful exit of 60 million.

She honed her entrepreneurial and brokerage skills for over a decade at Keller Williams as Operating Partner of the KW Downtown Los Angeles. She has managed over 1,000 real estate agents and over 2 billion dollars in real estate transactions.

Alex is a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council and sits on several company advisory boards including Brevitas, one of the top lead generation commercial real estate platforms in the United States. She is a contributor and speaker at Harvard Business School, CAR, WomanUp, Inman News, The Real Deal, and Gary Vaynerchuk’s Agent 2021. 

Prior to her career in real estate, Alex’s political career includes working at the White House for President Clinton, Vice President Gore and with members of Congress. During her time in politics, she held leadership positions with the California Democratic Party.

Alex studied Communications at Santa Clara University. She enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and her beautiful daughters.
