Mr. Erik C. Oh, Esq. (pronouns he/him/his) is a California attorney whose passion for the law began long before he attended law school. As a first-generation Korean American, Erik grew up helping his father—an Army veteran who immigrated to the United States in search of greater opportunities—navigate official correspondence and legal documents. Despite his father's remarkable service and resilience, he was often intimidated by the legal system and feared making mistakes when dealing with government agencies, financial institutions, and legal matters. Watching those struggles firsthand inspired Erik to pursue a legal career dedicated to helping people understand, navigate, and overcome complex legal challenges. Today, Erik is an accomplished litigator with experience spanning employment law, family law, consumer protection, intellectual property, and civil litigation. He currently focuses on employment litigation, representing employees in FEHA, wage and hour, class action, and PAGA matters. He manages a substantial litigation caseload and has extensive experience handling every stage of litigation, from drafting complaints and conducting discovery to taking depositions, arguing motions, attending mediations, and negotiating favorable settlements. Throughout his career, Erik has represented employees, consumers, veterans, and families during some of the most difficult periods of their lives. His approach combines diligent advocacy with a commitment to ensuring clients understand the legal process and feel empowered to make informed decisions about their futures. In addition to his litigation experience, Erik is also an entrepreneur and former law firm owner. He built and managed a family law practice dedicated to helping clients navigate divorce, child custody, support, and domestic violence matters. His leadership experience includes managing legal teams, developing firm procedures, and overseeing all aspects of law firm operations, client relations, and business development. Erik earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Western State University College of Law, where he was a member of Law Review and received numerous academic honors, including Dean's Circle recognition, Distinguished Honor Roll honors, and a Certificate of Exemplary Public Service. Prior to law school, he earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. He is admitted to practice before the State Bar of California, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Outside of his legal practice, Erik's greatest joy is spending time with his daughter and sharing new experiences through travel and adventure. He enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, skiing, and spending time at the beach whenever possible. A devoted college football fan, he appreciates the discipline, teamwork, and perseverance that the sport represents. Whether advocating for clients, exploring a new destination, or cheering from the sidelines on game day, Erik approaches life with curiosity, determination, and a deep appreciation for the opportunities that have shaped his journey.
